Scoring system in drifting

The scoring system in drifting varies among different drifting series worldwide, but generally includes Line, Style, Angle, Speed, Commitment, Initiation, and Fluidity. Often, the scores given by judges can be confusing for drivers and spectators due to the many separate components in scoring. King of Drift uses a scoring system that is clearer for everyone. It assigns 60 points for Line (which is crucial for maintaining a lead run thats easy to follow) and 40 points for Style (which encompasses angle, speed, initiation, and commitment). As Mevlud Meladze, the founder and CEO of King of Drift, pointed out, one cannot separate these elements from each other, as Style encompasses all the aforementioned components.

The FIA recomended scors are: 40 line, 30 angle, 20 style, 10 speed

The Drift Masters scores are: 60 line, 20 angle, 20 style (initiation 5, fluidity 10, commitment 5)

The King of Drift scores are: 60 line, 40 style
